Here i am again back to blogging...i really am going to try and keep up this time. So my Oasis quilt is finally quilted. I call it my Oasis Chain and its from a moda bake shop pattern found here
http://www.modabakeshop.com/2011/03/chain-of-faith.html I absolutely love how it turned out and My long armer Charisma did a fabulous job. Her talent is amazing and she always makes my quilts shine. I am planning to enter this quilt in our local fair, i have never entered anything so wish me luck. All thats left to do on it is binding. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Thanks for stopping by my blog
Blessings Tisha
Your quilt is fabulous. Especially fabulous since you have lots of children and a deployed husband. Is quilting your sanity? It is mine.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful! Hope you win a ribbon at the fair.
ReplyDeleteyes quilting is my sanity...but the kids do enjoy helping me also. They love to help pick out a pattern or fabrics. Even my youngest ones like to help pick up the little bits on the floor and put them in the trash for me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt ..... best wishes at the fair!

ReplyDeleteI am visiting from Jo's junction. I love the colours (that's how we here in New Zealand spell that)of your quilt. fantastic quilting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt Tisha. How different it looks from the one Jo made - the quilting does it.
ReplyDeleteFollowed the link from Jo's Country Junction. Your quilt is beautiful -- and that quilting is just spectacular!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely quilt this is - oddly enough I have my Moda Bake Shop bookmarked on the page showing Chains of Faith by Jo - just so that I don't "forget" it on my list of "quilts I want to make" Yours is a delight. All good wishes for the next 6 or so months whilst your husband is away.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed how the long-arm quilting enhanced the quilt. It is gorgeous!
